In summer the mountains and landscape around our apartments in Waidring are a real natural spectacle. Everything is blossoming and flourishing, the scent of trees, the fresh air on the mountains, and the wonderful cool water of the Pillersee lake down in the valley: This is what summer in the mountains really feels like.

In summer the gentle mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps and the impressive Steinplatte invite you to go on long hikes or unforgettable mountain tour. Thanks to the cable cars, which also operate in summer, you can easily und comfortably get up the mountain. Moreover, various walking and hiking trails go past our apartments in Waidring.

Right in front of our house you can start extended road cycling tours, unhurried e-bike tours or ambitious MTB tours through the mountain landscape of the PillerseeTal valley. Bathing & swimming

Not only the Pillersee lake, but also other bathing lakes (2 of them within walking distance) and outdoor swimming pools offer refreshment and cooling for your summer holiday in Waidring. Alternatively, you can enjoy long summer days at our own lawn for sunbathing and playing or while having a BBQ in our garden. If the temperatures are a little bit lower, we recommend for example a visit to the famous Rupertus thermal bath in Bad Reichenhall.
